Nuts about Carp

We have recently had many requests for Guiding to be offered through the website. This is now available at very competitive rates which should be affordable to all.

Our aim is to teach you all the required techniques to catch carp. You can have a single day session or overnight session which will include the cost of fishing and any required fishing tackle should you need it.

 

Subjects covered include:

Casting, distance casting and clipping up.

Spodding.

Feature Finding.

Using PVA.

Rig making.

Baits and Bait application.

Swim Layout.

Carp Care & Handling.

 

We are sure that this guiding session will interest many of you wishing to improve your skills or even those of you just wishing to brush up after a long break away from the sport.

 

The day is quite intensive and therefor a very basic angling abillity would be preferable before booking a days guiding.

Fishing takes place at our affiliate water Celtic Lakes,based near Lampeter. The venue holds a huge head of very pretty carp, bream and some monster catfish too!

 

In the correct conditions many fish can be caught in just one day!

Swims are very comfortable and we can also provide for the less abled anglers as well.

 

We are unfortunately unable to offer guiding services to under 21's at this moment in time, but hopefully this will be available later on this year.

Booking is via email only followed by a non refundable deposit of 25% .

Guiding services are available on Monday-Thursday inclusive and you should email us with your chosen date, name, address and telephone number.

Single days (8am-5pm) £75 including 25% deposit paid upon booking.

24hr Overnight session (8am-8am) £125 including 25% deposit paid upon booking.

Nuts about Carp recommend every client take out a personal insurance policy due to the nature of angling and recreational sport activities.

Nuts about Carp will not be held responsible for the health & welfare of any client or for any damage to clients vehicles and/or fishing equipement during guiding sessions.
